Event Description:

What do you do when evidence for a sexual assault at a high school is laid out on Twitter, or when the right to serve your country is refused because of your gender identification? How much time do we have before full countries are swallowed by the sea or dreamers in pursuit of higher education are turned away?

Independent filmmakers explore these moral issues and more at the Human Rights Watch Film Festival Saturday, February 2 at the Museum of Photographic Arts, in Balboa Park, at 1649 El Prado in San Diego. Five films and their subsequent question-and-answer sessions will inspire and challenge viewers to empathize and demand justice for all people.
