Smithsonian Magazine’s Museum Day

SaltDog Classic – Community Festival 2018, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

Seaside State Beach, 2526 S Coast Highway 101, Solana Beach, CA 92075 

Bring your kids and your pups out to the SaltDog Classic festival. It’s right on the ocean! The festival will feature live music, art, snacks and games for the kids, and a Tiki Bar for the adults! Dogs are welcome.


Pacific Islander Festival, 9am-4pm (Saturday 9/22 & Sunday 9/23), Ski Beach

PIFA is back! Discover and enjoy the culture of the Pacific Islands. Entertainment is jam packed with traditional dances, singers, and more. Come hungry because there will be plenty of food vendors. The event is all ages and free. Get more info here.


ArtWalk Carlsbad 11am – 6pm, Saturday (9/22) & Sunday (9/23)

If you love Little Italy’s ArtWalk, you’ll love this one in Carlsbad! (It’s the sister festival to the one in Little Italy). This all ages event starts at Armada Terrace in Carlsbad.  There’ll be live music, food trucks, interactive art experiences, and there’s a wine and beer garden for the adults. Over 200 artists will be their showcasing their talents, along with 50 chalk artists.  


Julian’s Old Fashioned Country Fair 10-5p Saturday & Sunday

Julian Farm & Orchard, 4381 Hwy. 78, Julian/Wynola

Nothing screams fall more than a Julian Apple Pie! Head up to the mountains for a pie baking contest, games, face painting, a petting zoo, and a pumpkin patch. This is a free event, get more details here.


Bazaar Del Mundo’s Santa Fe Marketplace, 10am-8p (Saturday 9/22 & Sunday 9/23)

Immerse your family into Native American culture at Bazaar Del Mundo in Old Town! Native American jewelry and art will be on display. There’ll be crafts for the kiddos, and more.
