I've been in San Diego radio for many years, and every Christmas we always get lots of question about "It's Christmas Once Again in San Diego."

The song was written and recorded by composer/artist Barry DeVorzon.  Whether you know it or not, you're familar with his music.  Just a few of the television shows among his credits include "S.W.A.T.", "Simon and Simon", "Renegades", "Private Benjamin", "V", "The New Twilight Zone", "Intimate Strangers", and "The Belarus File".  His music for television has earned him six Emmys and numerous nominations and he won a Grammy for "Nadia's Theme."

DeVorzon says "It's Christmas Once Again in San Diego" was written to celebrate the fact that more than half the world happily celebrates Christmas without snow - including San Diego.

(Although, our local mountains are sure to see a White Christmas this year!)

You can hear "It's Christmas Once Again in San Diego" on KSON this year, but if you want to listen now, use the player below.
