The Houston Astros have fired Hinch and Luhnow.

Looks like the Houston Astros will be severely punished for stealing signs during the 2017 season, when they won their first World Series title.

According to The Athletic, Commissioner Rob Manfred will suspend the club's manager A.J. Hinch and general manager Jeff Luhnow for one year. The club will lose its first- and second-round draft picks the next two years and be fined $5 million for the scheme -- which involved a secret camera, a video monitor and code being banged out on a hidden garbage can.

More punishment may be coming down soon. Former Astros coach Alex Cora,is said to be the architect of the plan who left after the season to take over the Boston Red Sox -- who won the World Series in 2018.
