Here Comes The Rain Again - Big Time!

January 18, 2017

Today, a Flash Flood Watch was issued for Friday by the National Weather Service in San Diego (see info below).

The San Diego National Weather Service office has added the possibility of thundershowers for Thursday and Friday to the forecast, which includes two and possibly a third storm moving through our area between now and Tuesday of next week.

While there may be a little downtime between our first and second storms this week, there may be little time for runoff to subside.  Look for local flooding to occur, especially in Mission Valley where the San Diego river can frequently close streets and cause flooding near Fashion Valley.

Strong winds could also accompany the storms.

We'll keep this story updated over the next few days with any new information from our NWS San Diego office.
